These terms govern your use of the Shohntak platform, its apps and website. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. The service
Shohntak is an intermediary platform that connects clients who want to move shipments with independent drivers and transport companies, and provides tools to request shipments, receive offers, track, pay and communicate. The transport itself is the responsibility of the chosen driver or company.
2. Accounts
- The information you provide must be accurate and up to date, and you are responsible for keeping your account and verification codes private.
- Drivers and transport companies must provide valid documents (ID, licence, vehicle registration, commercial registration), and the platform may accept, reject or suspend an account.
- The platform may block any account that breaches these terms or misuses the service.
3. Shipments and offers
- Clients must describe shipments accurately (weight, type, pickup and delivery points) and must not ship prohibited, dangerous or unlawful goods.
- Drivers and transport companies submit price offers, the client chooses one, and the agreed price binds both parties once accepted.
- Delivery is confirmed with the delivery code the client sends to the driver; entering it confirms receipt of the shipment.
4. Payments and fees
- Payment can be made online by card through the payment gateway, from the wallet balance, or in cash to the driver, as allowed by the request.
- Prices include VAT and the platform fees shown before confirmation, and an e-invoice is issued for every completed shipment.
- Discount coupons can be used according to each coupon's conditions and validity.
- Featured trips, ads and company packages are charged at their published prices and are not refundable once activated, except when an ad is rejected by the admin.
5. Cancellation
- Clients may cancel a shipment under the cancellation policy shown in the app; cancellation fees may apply after an offer is accepted or the driver is on the way.
- Drivers and transport companies bear the set fines when cancelling a committed shipment without an acceptable reason.
- Amounts due are refunded to the wallet or by the approved method under the cancellation policy.
6. Wallet and withdrawals
Drivers' and transport companies' earnings are added to their wallets after shipments are completed, and the balance can be withdrawn to a registered bank account after admin review. The platform may deduct due commissions, fines and debts from the balance.
7. Ratings and communication
All users must be respectful in chats and ratings; offensive, misleading or unlawful content is prohibited.
8. Liability
The platform works to keep the service reliable and available but does not guarantee it is free of faults, and is not liable for delays or damage caused by circumstances beyond its control. The condition of the shipment during transport is the responsibility of the driver or company carrying it.
9. Intellectual property
All rights in the apps, website, brand and content belong to Shohntak and may not be copied or used without written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its competent courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes to these terms
The platform may change these terms at any time; changes take effect from the date they are published on this page.
